Sword of the Spirit

I saw myself in Yosemite National Park and was in awe with the beauty and majesty of the trees and valley. In my hand I was holding the reigns of a horse. I was establishing trust with this horse, and it was at peace. Suddenly, a man took the reigns from me and he was yanking the reigns and caused the horse to start kicking. I heard the phrase, “kicking against the goads.” (Acts 26:14)

To my right was a small cabin on a dirt road. I went inside and saw that it was full of ammunition and explosives (the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but spiritual – 2 Corinthians 10). I saw a bullet proof vest, and put that on (the breastplate of righteousness Ephesians 6). I came under an intense fear of the Lord that I would not enter into the demonic attack outside or respond in the flesh.

Then, the Lord gave me a very high tech gun (sword of the Spirit – Ephesians 6). I went back outside of the cabin and I saw the man and the horse. I remarked, “he is a master manipulator.” I asked the Lord what the opposite of manipulation was. “Trusting the will of God.” I felt a deep desire to trust in God’s will and to be in surrender. I understood that the gun would operate in God’s will and would be opposite what the devil was doing. I shot the gun.

Suddenly, all around me the landscape grew up to form a fence around me. It was blossoming and green. The doorway became a large gated black door. There was so much privacy and peace from the manipulation outside. I was in a garden enclosed (Song of Solomon 4:12; this is also an image of my spirit in Christ). No one can break in or distract the peace of this garden. The Lord invited me to rest and showed me how he can, at any moment, pickup the horse and give it back to me or give me a new horse. I knew that the matter was in his hands and I felt a great openness to whatever the Lord would do. My work with the stolen horse was stolen, but my work was not in vain because the Lord is in control.

I was on my laptop searching for other horses. This horse did not have loyalty and had become unruly. I prayed for peace in my street and for this horse and man to go away. I then saw the demonic scene removed by the hand of God. Then, from an eagles eye view, I saw a grid. It was Gaza, destroyed. “O enemy, destructions are finished forever! And you have destroyed cities; Even their memory has perished.” (Psalm 9:6). How was I to relate to the world around me from this lavish garden? I shot my gun again and saw that it was able to release restoration. Again, the opposite of what the enemy was doing. Of the righteous Isaiah writes, “And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.” (Isaiah 61:4)

When I shot my gun it lit a lamp in one house. It brought warmpth to that house. The Lord continued to light many lamps throughout the destroyed houses. The streets were cleaned. I heard “international relations”. “Jesus over Israel, Jesus over Gaza, Jesus over Lebanon, Jesus over Syria, Jesus over the nations, He will set the captives free.” I had an overwhelming feeling that God knows how to make His Word run swiftly and move through the systems/families/grapevines of the earth. He is the author and finisher of all His works. All I have to do is engage with what He is already doing. He goes before and behind me.
